400 g Brussels sprouts
200 ml vegetable broth
100 ml milk
1 small onion
80 g cream cheese
pinch of sugar
salt and pepper to season and taste
pinch of nutmeg
100 g Emmental cheese
3 tbsp chopped garden herbs frozen or fresh
1 tbsp flour

This simple Brussels sprouts recipe is very popular and if you want to replicate this dish, you need to do it as follows.
The first step is to take care of the Brussels sprouts. The first step is to remove the outer leaves from the sprouts. Once you have removed the leaves, the next step is to cut the top off the Brussels sprouts stalk. Once this is done, you also cut a small cross at the bottom of the stalk.

After the initial preparations for the Brussels sprouts are complete, the Brussels sprouts must first be thoroughly washed. Then put in a saucepan enough water with a good pinch of salt and sugar.

Once the water in the saucepan is boiling, blanch the Brussels sprouts over medium heat for about 10 minutes! Once the cooking time is over, the Brussels sprouts are placed in ice water. This will help the Brussels sprouts retain a nice color.

While the Brussels sprouts are cooking, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In the meantime, you take care of the sauce. For this, you first need to peel an onion and cut it into small cubes. Once that is done, heat some butter in a cooking pot. Once the butter is melted, the onion is sweated first. Then you add the flour. Once you have added the flour, you have to mix everything to a creamy consistency. Once this step is complete, add the milk and vegetable broth, stirring constantly.

If everything has been mixed well together, the sauce should have a nice creamy consistency. Once this is the case , the following ingredients will be added to the sauce.

Once you have added all the ingredients, everything must be mixed well together. Then the sauce must cook for about 5 minutes on medium heat. When the sauce and Brussels sprouts are ready, the ingredients are placed in a casserole dish and sprinkled with cheese.

 
 

Preparation Baked Brussels Sprouts
