This delicious beef dish is an absolute delight. For this reason, today I have for you a simple recipe on offer. The first step is to prepare a few ingredients. The mushrooms make the beginning. The mushrooms are cleaned and sliced. Right after that, grab the cornichons and cut them into small pieces. Once that is also done, the next step is to grab the shallots. Just cut the shallots into small rings. Once this step is also done, you take care of the beef. The meat, cut into strips, is seasoned with salt and pepper. In addition, the beef is dredged in flour.
Once you have completed this step, you put all the other ingredients at hand and you can start cooking.
Preparation Boeuf Stroganoff Recipe

In the first preparation step, heat some clarified butter in a large skillet. Once the clarified butter is hot enough, sear the beef strips on all sides. Once this step is done, remove the meat from the pan again and then set the meat aside, covered, until further processing. After searing the meat, fry the mushrooms for about 3 – 4 minutes. While frying, add 3/4 of the chopped shallots and the chopped cornichons, so that these ingredients are also briefly sautéed. Once this step is done, deglaze the ingredients with the beef stock and white wine. Then the ingredients are cooked for about 15 minutes on medium heat.
After the cooking time is over, add the following ingredients.
3 tbsp. cornichons cucumber water
pinch of salt, pepper and sugar
125 g sour cream
50 g créme fraiche
1 tsp medium hot mustard and tomato paste
Once you have added the ingredients, the next step is to mix everything together well. Now add the meat and the parsley back into the pan. Then you have almost done it, in the last step you mix 1 tbsp flour with 3 tbsp water until no lumps are visible. The flour and water mixture is then added to the sauce, stirring constantly. Once this is done, all the ingredients must boil for another 2 minutes. The short cooking time gives the Boeuf Stroganoff a nice creamy consistency. Finally, the Boeuf Stroganoff must be seasoned again and if necessary, you add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Then you’re done, the delicious Boeuf Stroganoff can be served with the remaining onion rings.
